Senior Frontend Engineer (Via)

You will

• Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across different web applications.
• Design and implement solutions by developing server and client technologies.
• Lead the frontend development methodology while mentoring other developers.
• Leverage your experience with frontend architecture and design patterns into the development of a new web application that is taking its first steps into large scale application.
• Introduce modern web development technologies, set high standards and drive best practices for backend development for web applications.

Expectations

• 6+ years of frontend programming experience, from which 3+ years of React.js — must.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience.
• Fast learner: you can quickly master concepts, disciplines, and methods.
• Ability to work with unclear requirements.
• Fluent English — must, communication skills and soft skills are crucial here as the FE Developer will need to communicate with the Designer and the Product Manager thus, the candidate must be able to transfer messages correctly.

High advantage:

• Experience of working with geospatial data (like Mapbox, TomTom, GeoJSON, KML, OSM, mercator, OTP).
• Experience in design.
