Team Lead DevOps

Responsibilities

• Manage DevOps team, up to 10 engineers. Plan team capacity, hire new team members if necessary.
• Act as a key engineer and help us with architecture and development of our Kubernetes platform.
• Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Research new technologies and ways to improve and optimize our infrastructure.
• Develop tools that help to support and maintain our environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in managing a team of engineers.
• Overall experience of 6+ years.
• In-depth Linux knowledge and its tooling.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP stack, common protocols and ability to debug any network-related issues.
• Minimum 2 years of production experience with Kubernetes.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with IaC and configuration management tools. We use Terraform and Ansible.
• Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages i.e., Bash, Python, etc.

Nice to have:

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch will be a plus.
• Good knowledge of AWS and/or VMware vSphere.
• Monitoring using Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana.
