Product Manager (FinTech)

About the job

You will be the first Product Manager of a new concept!

You will be tasked to build a product with trust and safety top of mind and work with the product development team and leadership on a frequent basis.

You will also need to be an expert at analytics — in this role, you should constantly be monitoring analytics to look for improvements, whether major or minor. You should be excited to use data to inspire new product additions and ideas, and work to allocate resources to best implement.

You will

Pitch and position new ideas for product and feature development:

• Refine FinTech products vision: Digital Banking OR Payment Gateways OR Crypto-Fiat projects and maintain the Products’ Roadmap in collaboration with the product development team.
• Deliver innovation via continuous product development and business process improvement.
• Assume the role of a FinTech subject-matter expert, building a strong understanding of our business model, market, and industry.
• Gather product requirements to discover new ways of working and drive new solution architecture.
• Manage feature backlog, including prioritising and Roadmap planning.

Work with engineering and design teams to bring the product to life:

• Work collaboratively with the product development team to validate and deliver successful products through design, build, test, release, and maintenance, while ensuring revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction goals are met. Write user stories with Gherkin.

Ensure that each product meets the needs of the target user or customer:

• Maintain a deep understanding of our data and analytics to incorporate into product planning.
• Communicate the state of projects across the team and Executives.

About you

Knowledge and abilities:

• You have strong written and verbal English and Russian skills to efficiently and effectively communicate with engineering teams.
• You have understanding of Data Architecture, Analytics toolkits, General FinTech Principles.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility with a bias towards action.
• You have a scrappy and “hustle” mindset with a healthy dose of scepticism.
• You are results oriented with a bias towards action.
• You are good-natured, humble, and a generally positive person.

Ability to:

• Roll up your sleeves, solve problems and build long-term solutions.
• Envision the short term and long term horizon of the product.
• Constantly iterate.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MBA or related is a plus.

Experience:

• Experience working on Banking Products is a plus.
• For Crypto-Fiat projects, relevant experience in building: fiat-crypto-fiat on/off ramps, integrating with exchanges, integrating with payment providers, building crypto trading platforms, building crypto e-wallets.
• 5+ years of Product Management experience, building FinTech banking products.
• Experience with FinOps is considered an asset.
