DevOps Tech Lead

In your day-to-day you will

• Be the focal point of everything that is related to DevOps and the infrastructures of our very high-load system.
• Have full ownership of DevOps architecture, choice of tools, and bottlenecks solutions with the purpose of improving the processing abilities of our bidder, the experience of our development team, and cost optimization.
• Build and improve tools and processes to ensure R&D enablement, productivity, stability, and automation.
• Manage hands-on our hybrid infrastructures of cloud servers in AWS and bare metal servers, be responsible for the CI/CD pipelines, monitor and scale them.
• Use technologies such as Aerospike, Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Jenkins, HAProxy and more.
• Optimize use to reduce costs and prevent unexpected spending.
• Keep the company’s tech environment protected from security threats.

Desired skills and experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps leading/architecture roles of a big data product in production is a must.
• Writing in Python is a must.
• High level of English for daily verbal and written communication.
• Resourceful! Creative, proactive with a good sense of urgency.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Java.

Conditions

The hiring model is according to a contractor agreement, but for full scope and long-term. We are flexible with payments both in USD or Euros.
