Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Implementing the components that bind complex routing, real-time customer and driver management, and mass-scale user communication into a complete, mission-critical service.
• Defining and implementing effective cloud infrastructure scaling solutions based on best-in-class standard tools.
• Designing and implementing POCs and production-ready sub-systems to handle customer service, advanced analytics, operational shift management, and more.
• Build and maintain high-performance services responsible for the core logic of Via’s services.
• Work in an agile environment and deliver high-quality code.

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer using Python.
• Experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience.
• Familiar with cloud-based deployment (Preferred: AWS).
• Can get into large / complex codebases easily.
• Great communication skills in English.
• Willingness to take ownership — including shifts / on-call.
• Easy on context switches.
• Architectural capabilities — advantage.

Very welcome:

• Experience in Java.
• Experience in React is a huge Bonus.
