Stoic, the flagship fintech product of Cindicator (launched in 2015 based on extracting value from the crowd wisdom phenomenon for investment products), provides trading automation and crypto asset management service for tens of thousands of clients. Stoic helps to develop the financial intelligence of the client, removing emotions and wasting time from manual non-professional trading.

We are a team of 30+ professionals (mathematicians and developers with world-class fintech experience — WorldQuant, Bloomberg).

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the backend of the product, developing the relationship with the proprietary trading system.

Python 3.7+.

Tasks

Design and development of the server part of the REST application.
Refactoring and optimization of the existing code base.
Optimization of work with databases.
Monitoring the stability of the application.

Your experience

Strong knowledge of Python 3, Django, and FastAPI.
Knowledge of distributed task queues (celery).
Experience in developing RESTful, microservices.
Ability to work not only with ORM, but also with "raw" SQL queries.
Ability to understand other people's code.
Product development experience.
Experience in developing high-load projects.
At least 3 years of experience in a team.
Technical English.
Interest in fintech, backed by experience.
Passion for quality products.

Good addition:

Experience with ClickHouse.
Familiarity with blockchain.
Experience with Redis and RabbitMQ.
Understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Understanding of design patterns, and the ability to apply them in practice.
Experience in setting up, optimizing, and working with PostgreSQL.
