Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

You will

• Develop comprehensive infrastructure designs that incorporate strategic target state IT infrastructure architecture and standards to maximize performance, capacity, information security and minimize total cost of ownership with planning horizon not less than 3–7 years.
• Translate complex and sometimes ambiguous business requirements into sound technical solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and be responsible for developing components of, or the overall system design and its integration.
• Work with application, infrastructure, and information security services owners to influence and shape the strategic direction and target state infrastructure architecture.
• Apply hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, defining, or recommending product hardware and software interfaces.
• Develop or update comprehensive High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies by recommending specific tools and solutions that meet internal or regulatory requirements.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and recommend business directions based on these technologies.
• Educate the business representatives, engineering teams, build, and support teams on standards, processes, and tools.
• Drive client satisfaction by identifying and developing process improvement and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance of solutions to operations roadmap.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
• Support compliance to applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices.

Expectations

• Experience providing technical leadership in the design of highly complex systems across on-premises, 3rd party hosted, and Public Cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with various UNIX / Linux and Windows OS, and the underlying infrastructure they can run on.
• Knowledgeable about HP, Dell and local vendors x86 platforms.
• In-depth understanding of a variety of Storage systems (including Russian ones) and technologies such as SAN, NAS, ScaleIO, Object Storage, storage virtualization & snapshot, Metro Storage Cluster etc.
• In-depth understanding of Backup, Archival, Web, Middleware, Database, Security, Encryption, and Virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, local Russian platforms based on OpenStack).
• Experience with performance modeling, capacity analysis, and capacity planning.
• Knowledgeable and live experience in implementation and use of Russian / Open Source market of corporate infrastructure SW — server and desktop OS, virtualization platforms, ITSM tools, directory services, monitoring, InfoSec, instant messaging and audio / video conference platforms etc.
• In-depth knowledge of MS infrastructure products: Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Exchange, WSUS, SCCM, SCOM, Terminal Services etc.
• In-depth knowledge of Network: (LAN, DMZ, VPN, NAT, DMZ, Firewall, Proxy, DNS).
• Experience with web platforms; IBM WAS, WebLogic, Tomcat, and Apache HTTPD variants.
• Experience with infrastructure requirements for Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL Databases.
• Understanding of data platforms that provide for structured and unstructured data, fault tolerance and high availability.
• Understanding integration technologies like AbInitio, Kafka, Apache Ignite, IBM MQ and RabbitMQ, Solace, Tibco.
• Understanding container platforms and management, like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring platforms.

• Demonstrate composed analytical thought to resolve issues in high pressure situations.
• Clear and concise written and oral communication in Russian and English (Upper Intermediate level).
• Must be able to analyze the financial aspects of technology.

Education:

• Bachelor’s / University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Technical Architect and / or Solutions Engineering and / or Infrastructure Design or Architecture experience.
• Foundational knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, PMI/PMP, SDLC.
• Technical certifications showing a pattern of continuous professional development.

Will be a plus:

• Background in technology and infrastructure provisioning.
