VP of Engineering

=Nil;Foundation develops data access mechanisms that facilitate insecure data transfer between public databases (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, others). This is done by combining zero-knowledge proof cryptography and a classic DBMS-like approach.
Our current customers have invested in our technology through grants, including the Ethereum Foundation, MINA, Solana, Starkware, etc. In recent months we have completed our first ever funding round with Polychain as the lead (and others) investment with valuation ~220 mUSD and are now actively scaling the team.
We are looking for an experienced VP of Engineering with an interest in DBMS and advanced cryptography. We expect this person to be fully responsible to handle the growth of team (40+ developers) and development of processes and coordinate the development of protocol-level wrap, cryptographic circuits and compiler development.
We expect you to have
- Strong management background.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Applied Math background.
- Interested in applied cryptography.
- Experience in managing a team of 50–60 engineers.
- The ability to lead a distributed remote team.
- Experience with software engineering best practice.
- Fluent English.
