Head of DevOps

Responsibilities

• Manage DevOps team, up to 10 highly skilled engineers. Plan team capacity, hire new team members if necessary.
• Build and manage highly available, scalable, and reliable infrastructure for both production and development environments. Manage infrastructure capacity, performance, and cost.
• Lead the team to design and implement the DevOps architecture and automation solutions including but not limited to infrastructure security, automated provisioning, CI/CD pipeline.
• Plan and implement security measures to provide compliance with security audits requirements and zero trust architecture principles.
• Build and continuously improve proactive monitoring for production services to guarantee the necessary uptime level.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a Head of DevOps or DevOps Manager.
• 5+ years of experience administering Linux servers.
• 2+ year experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform.
• 2+ year experience with Kubernetes / CloudWatch / EKS / EBS logs / VPC networking and security.
• Expert level understanding and hands-on experience on Cloud Platform and architecture like AWS.
• Experience with managing WAF.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Good knowledge of network infrastructure design & public cloud architecture.
• Practical experience with the NGINX web server (Reverse-proxy, SSL, HTTP2, Upstream).
• Experience with planning and forecasting work and projects.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment, and show initiative to take on responsibilities.
• Decision-making, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Time management with the ability to organize, assess, and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
• Experience working in an agile Scrum team and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• English — Upper-intermediate.
