Responsibilities
- Independently execute core features, taking a few weeks to complete.
- Design, document, implement, and operate our most critical and scalable services.
- Understand the operational aspects of the backend system, execute bug fixes, incident.
- Investigation and hotfix resolutions.
- Work with a distributed team of frontend engineers to build and host AR technology.
- Computer vision, machine learning, data analytics, and 3D web media.
- Develop infrastructure for CMS web application, intractable video player overlay.
- Experience, web-based AR rendering and interactive display multimedia.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and troubleshoot a scalable and high quality web-based.
- Augmented reality authoring platform using shared libraries and systems.
- Conduct regular code and design reviews, and ensure exceptional code quality.
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs, and execute solutions for server cost savings.
- Deploy server side image/object recognition, and machine learning services as part of an.
- Interactive SaaS WebAR publishing platform and media server.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- Regularly execute large-scale microservices and distributed systems.
- Deploy scalable cloud computing, networking and data storage systems.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure and architect large-scale system design.
- Server Side: AWS, Kubernetes; NoSQL solutions, Memcache/Redis, EKS, RDS.
- Cloudfront and S3; NodeJs, Koa, ExpressJs, VAST/VPAID.
- REST API: Elixir / Phoenix / Ecto based microservices.
- Microservices architecture: OTP, Failover Clustering, RMQ, OAuth and Load Balancers.
- Database: PostgreSQL; MySQL ObjectionJS (ORM), DynamoDB, Mongo.
- AWS stack: EC2, ECS, AutoScaling, ElasticLB, Security-Groups, Dynamo, CloudTrail.
- Develop Secure systems that maintain data privacy.
- Network security and protocols: HTTP, WebSockets, SSL, ProtoBuffers, TCP/IP, routing.
- Iiptables, snort, wireshark.
- Proven track record of operating highly-available systems at significant scale.
- Experience with Java, C++, and/or Python.
- Ability to collaborate and work well with colleagues across the organization.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a professional backend software engineer.
- Computer Science degree, with strong algorithms, data structures, problem-solving skills.
- Experience with complex .API integrations.
- Test-driven development (TDD): Jest and Enyzme.
- Code bundlers: (Webpack, Parcel).
- Version Control: Git/Github.
- Workflow: JIRA/Confluence.
- Working knowledge of AR tools: Web GL, WebXR, SceneViewer, ARCore, ARKit a plus.
