DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Configuring monitoring tools for increased transparency into applications and infrastructure.
• Identifying manual processes and automating them.
• Providing technical guidance on development and operations.
• Improving delivery by introducing new procedures and technologies.
• Working with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 year of work experience as a DevOps with Google Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Cloud Build, and other essential GCP products.
• Ability to deploy and manage containerized, Golang Microservices, PHP, and Node applications in GCP environment.
• Good understanding of infrastructure as code auto-scaling strategies and canary deployments.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Scripting and programming ability to carry out automation tasks.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Detail-oriented, critical thinker and problem solver.
• Great to have: Hands-on experience with a message broker such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Bonus: Helm, GlusterFS, Redis, Elasticsearch, Terraform, TLS, gRPC, New Relic, SonarCloud, Cloudflare.
