FUNCORP, an entertainment UGC apps developer with a 10-year history of success, is launching an internal startup. Yepp is a revolutionary product for the U.S. market, offering:
- a system of fair ad revenue sharing with meme writers;
- an ML editor with which anyone can create viral content.
We’ve only recently launched the app with its’ potential growth so obvious we’re aiming for scalability — billing, fraud protection, users stats, etc. With our product being fresh out the box both product ML features (recommendations to face recognition) and freedom to choose any problem-solving approach are there. This allows for a start-up-like approach — with a proper team and no start-up-like risks being the differences.
We’re currently searching for an Android Developer to help us develop Yepp, improve and create new user experiences.

- AndroidX, Jetpack Android Architecture Components.

- RxJava, Coroutines, Work Manager.
- Firebase.

- Dagger2.
- Exoplayer, Glide.
- Jenkins.
- Jira, GitLab.
What is to be done
- Develop and improve our app.
- Develop new features and functionality.
- Track how the solutions you develop work in different countries and for different audiences.
Tasks you have to do
- Improve and develop a system of technical analytics on battery, CPU, and RAM consumption and temperature to detect problems early.
- Participate in the development and improvement of MVI architecture.
You need to
- Have 3 or more years of commercial Android app development experience.
- Knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.
- Follow OOP and SOLID principles.
- Understand and apply design patterns, MV* and Clean architecture.
- Experience working in a product company.
- Experience working in teams with code review.
It will be totally cool if you:
- Have worked with media content and/or ExoPlayer.
- Dealt with a multimodule project.
- Have worked with Rx or Coroutines.
