Persona.ly, a global company with machine-learning-based products in market research and Mobile marketing fields, with offices and representations in Russia, Korea, India, and Indonesia and headquarters in Israel is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, to join our development team and report to the Product Lead.
As a DevOps Engineer of our machine-learning-based RTB product, you will be part of a very stable (12 years old) global start-up company that moves fast and gives real value to the customers based on our technology -helping their growth efforts, fraud prevention, and providing them with data-driven insights derived from our custom predictive models which process over 2 million transactions a second!
In your day-to-day
- You will be the focal point of our platform’s infrastructures and servers in a very high load And take full ownership of all company-wide DevOps efforts aimed to improve the processing Abilities of our bidder, as well as the experience of our development team.
- Manage our hybrid infrastructures of cloud servers in AWS and bare metal servers.
- Build and improve tools and processes to ensure R&D enablement, productivity, and stability.
- Lead automated deployment processes.
- Use technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Aerospike, Jenkins, HAProxy, and more to provide Agile workflow.
- Be responsible for the CI/CD pipelines, Monitor, and scale.
- Optimize and analyze use in order to reduce cloud costs and prevent unexpected spending.
- Keep the company’s tech environment protected from security threats.
Desired skills and experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps of a high-load product in production — must.
- Experience with the tech stack of Kafka, Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Aerospike, Jenkins, HAProxy, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Writing in Python — must, Java — significant advantage.
- High level of English for daily verbal and written communication.
- Resourceful! Creative, Proactive with a good sense of urgency.
- Availability for on-call shifts.
