Senior/Middle Android Developer

We are looking

• We develop several versions of Android applications for our platform, which are based on a common functional module. One of the key features of our applications is its offline mode. Much of our system's data is synced with each individual app, allowing it to work regardless of network connectivity when the data has been loaded.
• This means you’ll be working on a variety of tasks that are not specific to mobile development, such as optimizing database queries, working with background processes, caching, and much more. Our team aims to make flexible and adaptive interfaces for different devices and clients, thanks to our system of settings and permissions.
• If you’re bored of developing simple applications, you’ll find a varied and diverse role once you join Team Mercaux.
• All applications are written in Kotlin, a significant amount of RxJava, we use DbFlow as a SQL constructor, and we use Kodein for dependency retrieval.

What you will need to do

• Develop both the mobile application for tablets and the application for interactive counters and self-checkouts in retail stores.
• Write synchronization system code and think about how to load and store hundreds of thousands of objects in a database on a mobile device.
• Deal with a lot of Rx chains.
• Integrate with external services and devices, for example, write control code for barcode scanners or RFID readers.

Requirements

• You know Kotlin.
• You have worked with RxJava, or you have a good understanding of reactive programming in general.
• You are quite comfortable with SQLite.
• Git commit — am “Everything is done”; Git push — u origin the_most_important_task.
