Smart Contract Test Engineer

(GMT+3) Moscow.

Responsibilities

• Lead the efforts around shipping quality product.
• Work with smart contract specification authors to assess specification feasibility.
• Develop test scenarios according to smart contract specification.
• Create, develop and manage a unified expandable test automation framework.
• Create automated tests for existing and new smart contracts.
• Develop test plans and perform multiple types of testing including functional, system, end to end, load, performance, data integrity, smoke, regression, and ad hoc.
• Submit comprehensive defects using our bug tracking system.
• Regress and verify defects as needed, record test results, and provide metrics.
• Lead and implement plans for improving testing and release processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Test, or Deployment.
• Good understanding of an asynchronous messaging model.
• Some experience with Python and Unix shell scripting.
• Strong analytical skills to work with developers for troubleshooting and peer review.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Will be a plus:

• Understanding of basic principles and concepts of the TON Blockchain is a strong advantage.
• BS degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with testing of asynchronous systems is an advantage.
• Experience with Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
