System Administrator (DevOps role)

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Resolve technical issues with LAN, WAN, and other network deployments.
• Resolve multi-tier help-desk tickets such as password resets, wifi authentication, printers, and video conferencing infrastructure.
• Implement and manage datacenter and cloud infrastructure.
• Responsible for the implementation and management of internal applications and security.
• Automate the deployment and evaluation of software and services.
• Create or integrate scalable monitoring solutions.
• Gain a deep understanding of how to support advanced robotics and machine learning environments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of IT experience in system(s) administration.
• At least 1 year of DevOps experience.
• Familiar with Linux or Unix system administration.
• Able to conduct advanced troubleshooting.
• Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language or automation framework.
• Strong desire to implement or learn advanced systems administration and automation.
• Good knowledge of English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field.
• RHCT, RHCE or equivalent certifications.
• Strong knowledge of managing continuous integration, continuous delivery platforms.
• Advanced experience with network troubleshooting and deployment.
