React Native Tech Lead (Mobile App)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance to the team, particularly in React Native and TypeScript, or be willing to quickly ramp up and lead by example in these technologies.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment in app stores (both iOS and Android).
• Manage a team of 4+ developers, providing mentorship, performance assessments, and fostering professional growth.
• Participate in hiring processes to expand the team, ensuring the recruitment of high-caliber talent.
• Conduct regular code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and ensure high standards of code quality across the team.
• Implement and adapt Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to keep the team aligned and motivated.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development process, ensuring timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
• Dedicate a portion of your time to actively writing and reviewing code, ensuring you remain deeply connected to the technical aspects of the project.
• Drive the architecture and development of key features, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in mobile development.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A passion for staying current with industry trends and continuously improving both personal and team skills.
• Proficiency in English sufficient for reading technical documentation and participating in project discussions.
